5 SIMPLE WAYS TO MAKE YOUR DAY!
We all have those days where we just don't feel like being productive or even getting out of bed. It's even harder if you're living by yourself or in a student house where you do not relate to any one other than yourself. The truth is, you don't need anyone else than yourself to get sh*t done. So, without further ado... these are my 5 simple ways to make your day!

1. CHANGE THE RINGTONE OF YOUR ALARM!
After (hopefully) having a great sleep, the last thing you want is a hard BAM, BAM, BAM sound to wake you up. Change it to something that like a peaceful song or a bitchy one that will get you out of bed with the attitude to conquer the world! -- Do not use your favorite song! I repeat, DO NOT USE YOUR FAVORITE SONG! [just a tip, you don’t want to end up hating your favorite song]. For example, mine is ‘Only You’ by Cheatcodes ft. Little Mix, do check them out if you are looking for a good alarm.
2. TAKE A BREATH BEFORE GETTING OUT OF BED
As students, we normally set the alarm for the exact time we need to get up to take a shower, get ready and leave. Try to wake up 15-30 minutes earlier. Give yourself 5 minutes to get up, sit and just breathe in and out before getting out of bed. Think about what you want to accomplish that day and set your goals. The rest of the time, use it to stretch your body and mind; take your time and slowly get your way to the shower.
3. BREAKFAST, ‘THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY’
We all have heard the importance of eating breakfast in the morning. By taking your time and making a small breakfast (or big, who am I to judge) helps you to be focused and be able to concentrate on your tasks during the day. By making sure your stomach is filled in the morning, you’re helping your performance during the day and, in the end, that’s what you’re trying to accomplish.
4. FAKE IT, DANCE IT AND BELIEVE IT!
It’s not a lie that sometimes we don’t feel like doing anything, whatsoever. This may sound weird, but you got to fake it sometimes and I’m not talking about faking it in bed (Cuz that just fucked up!). I mean, act the attitude you want to have on for the rest of the day. It may be difficult at the beginning but, hopefully, you’ll catch up with your act. If you're still not feeling it, play your bitchy song while brushing your teeth and getting ready to go out and conquer your dreams.
5. BE KIND AND SHARE A COMPLIMENT
By now, we all have heard about the expression Pay it forward. For those who live under a rock and haven’t heard it, pay it forward means instead of paying someone back for doing a good deed for you, you pay it forward by doing a good deed for someone else. Hopefully, it will create a snowball effect. So, be kind and be genuine. Ask a fellow student how they are doing or simply give them a genuine compliment. Put a smile on someone’s face, and I’m sure that will put a smile on yours as well!
